By downloading, installing, or using the Knight Clock mobile application ("Application"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the Application.
1. License Grant
IND Tech Mark grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use this Application on an Android device owned or controlled by you, strictly in accordance with these terms.
2. Permitted Use & Restrictions
You agree that you will not:
- Decompile, reverse engineer, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the Application.
- Modify, adapt, improve, translate, or create derivative works from the Application.
- Distribute, sublicense, rent, lease, or lend the Application to any third party outside the Google Play Store mechanisms.
- Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notices (including copyright or trademark notices) of the Developer.
3. Professional Tournament Disclaimer
Knight Clock is developed for recreational, training, and tournament practice purposes. While we make every effort to ensure the accuracy of the chess timer down to millisecond intervals, IND Tech Mark cannot guarantee that local tournament arbiters, directors, or FIDE officials will accept the use of a mobile application in place of physical, certified chess clocks for official rated games.
Use of the app in any official chess competition is entirely at your own discretion. The developer takes no responsibility for game forfeits, illegal move penalties, clock pause errors, battery depletion, or screen locking during match play.
4. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL IND TECH MARK BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF GAME STANDINGS, COMPETITION FARES, TIME VALUE, DATA LOSS, OR ANY OTHER LOSS) ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION, EVEN IF THE DEVELOPER HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Application is provided to you "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" and with all faults and defects without warranty of any kind. IND Tech Mark disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
6. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without giving effect to any choice of law principles. Any legal actions or proceedings arising under these terms shall be brought exclusively in courts located in India.
